Spears & Azalea’s Retrofied Music Video

If you’re into pop culture and are older tha 15, then you most likely grew up with Britney. And by growing up with her, you probably first saw her in the Mickey Mouse club, and then she moved onto releasing her own singles, cds and even attended one of her concerts. It’s not to say that she wasn’t a household name back in the 90′s and early 2000′s, but some dramatic changes in her own life took her out of ours. For a couple of years, Britney kind of phased out of the music industry and did her own thing. Remember that shaved head fiasco? Yup, we remember it too. Well now she’s back and with a residency in Vegas (did you see our article about her spraining her ankle? Ouch that must have hurt!), she’s also begin beefing up her musical career again by teaming up with other artists. If there’s any way to keep yourself in the music industry without releasing a new EP, it’s to sing with someone else on a collaborated track. Pitbull can attest to that!

Anyways, we digress. Britney recently teamed up with Iggy Azalea to release a retro-filled music video about aliens, girlfriends and everything about pretty girls. If you’re a fan of either of them, you’ll definitely enjoy the track. It’s a little bit strange at first when you listen to it for the first time, but after a couple of repeats, trust us. You’ll be just as hooked as we are!

Check out the music video here:

Yes yes, it is a little bit weird at first. We get it, but it’s just so catchy! And we definitely predict that it’ll be the summer anthem for the summer of 2015. So if you’re ready to get back into the pop scene with some fun retro styled music, make sure to keep this track on your playlist to be the hit of the party!
