50 Shades of Grey – A La Grey

If you thought that the 50 Shades of Grey mayhem was over, think again. The famed novelist, E. L. James, of the bestseller Fifty Shades of Grey series has just announced a different perspective on the entire story that captivated bored mommies around the world. And it’s not just because the series needed to be extended to be milked for more money, but because the reader asked for it.

50 Shades of Grey - A La Grey

“This book is dedicated to those readers who asked…and asked…and asked…and asked for this.”

In the riveting new novel told in the point of view of Christian Grey, we get a glimpse into the private life of the tycoon and to find out exactly what he was thinking every single step of the way.

We already know that Christian had a twisted past and that his childhood wasn’t exactly ideal, but it would be nice to see his perspective of his life as opposed to just seeing it from Anastasia’s.

Christian is a complex character and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story.”

Are you excited for this release? It’s not exactly published yet, so we’re all waiting to see what is made of it once it is! Surprise, surprise though, the book will be published on June 18th (Christian’s birthday!).

However, now that we’ve all seen the movie, the one thing that we’re wondering is whether or not you’ll be picturing the movie portrayal of Christian Grey as opposed to the one that you had originally imagined when you read the book for the first time. Sound back and let us know! We’re also curious as to who you pictured the actor for Christian Grey would be before the movie was casted. Was the actor true to your vision? Or did you have someone else in mind?

If this dude was poor and ugly, it’d be a horror flick titled Fifty Shades of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre

    50 Shades Of Grey

Is a bullshit love story, secretly trying to teach girls that being forcefully tied up, spanked & choked without saying yes, is normal & sexy. That movie is some brainwashing shit, telling women to let their man do whatever he wants, even if it hurts & you don’t like it. Bondage is skating on thin ice & is almost rape when you don’t follow the rules, but since there’s a movie about it now, let’s all go get tied up. But we’re trying to lower rape in the US?

    Mindless America.

Seeing all the hype about this movie from the media and all the money it made, it made me think I was the only one or in the minority who absolutely hated it. And thankfully I’m not the only one, I am just tired of women being portrayed as all confused naive and lost damsel’s who actually enjoy being controlled and submissive which is the greatest myth and lie about women that somehow still survived through these ridiculous standards and rules mostly coming from religion’s.
Also I just hate the way they made Christian the typical rich white guy with “childhood problems” and oh yeah the only way to solve his frustrations is to beat up and abuse and “dominate” a woman, seriously? The fact he offered a contract was the most idiotic part of the plot. Also the way they wanted to mess with peoples minds in order to make his behaviour acceptable by making his character “be nice” to her and buy her stuff etc. So ridiculous, overrated and the typical mainstream plot. I just can’t believe something whack like this became so popular… There are so many good erotic movies like Nine And Half Weeks, this made me laugh at times of how horrible their acting was as well.
It’s sickening to see how many men are also taking a ignorant view of all women because of a stupid movie and as usual spilling their sexist shit. This “phenomenon” has made people only fight with each other and affected everything negatively, in my opinion. Why not make a movie with a woman empowerment message and having a badass female character with a good plot and script as well, without her beating the guy or anyone being the dominant or the submissive one, just make her mysterious and sexy, smart and COMPLEX, make her character still be a little player but “emotionally unavailable” for then some reason and the guy would try to change her and it would be a crazy ride etc
I’m sure a lot women would actually benefit and learn something from a movie like that. Shit,if I ever become a director which is my dream I’ll make a movie like that, fuck 50 Shades Of Shit.

Very underrated. I think this book empowers women. People are shallow for not liking it.

Empowers woman? Please, explain how! This book Is just some horny author who failed to write, it literally takes us back to the time where woman were used as sex slaves.
