3rd Book From Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Series Announced

If you’re a fan of Ransom Riggs’ trilogy Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, you’ll be happy to hear that a third installment of the series is set to be released soon! Similar to the other two novels in the series, a variety of old-fashioned photos will be used throughout the novel as well as the cover. And here is the official photo that will be making it to the cover of the third novel: Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series: Library of Souls!

3rd Book From Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Series Announced

The book itself won’t be available till September 22, 2015 for purchase (that’s quite far away, actually scratch that it’s not. It’s merely only a couple months), but we found an interview that Riggs had with EW discussing some of the adventures that Jacob and Emma will be going on in the third installment.

If you’ve yet to read the first two novels in the series, then some of the pieces of his interview may be a bit of a spoiler for you! So we’ve warned you, don’t try to read any farther ahead if you’re not ready for it!

In the third novel, we find out that Jcob has a new power, and the two of them have to rescue their friends for a protected fortress. If you think that the second novel was thick in comparison to the first one, then get ready for the third one. Because not only will it be jammed packed with new material, but that material has to go somewhere right?

Did we also mention that there’s to be a Tim Burton produced film for Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children as well? That in its own is slated to be released next year in 2016. Riggs recently visited the set of the movie and has recaled that the Victorian style era of the novels definitely comes to life out of the sound stages. So if you’re as excited as we are, just hang tight till come September for the next novel!

This amazing book has inspired me to start collecting old and eerie photographs as well, and write my own stories about them. I really loved the book and couldn’t put it away for a single second!

I cannot wait for this one. At all. I’m rating it five stars in advance, for pretty obvious reasons.

Wait, this is gonna be the last book in the series?

Okay. In that case, I’ll just hibernate till it comes out:

I’m really scared for this book! I want it to be a good conclusion! Oh and the cover better match the other two….

Update- the cover is beautiful. And it matches! Plus the synopsis sounds awesome. Yay!

ERMAGAWD!!!!!! I NEED THIS!! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!! Like, THIS INSTANCE!! I was TERRIFIED that I would have to wait for this one for 3 years (HC came out 3 years after Miss P) so I’m incredible relieved.

The absolute BEST cover of the trilogy by far. I’m so excited to have this in my hands!!

I really didn’t like it. It was a very very slow read. The pictures were very dull. I just didn’t really like it. Great concept, terrible execution.
