WaterColorBot Turns Your Digital Art Into Watercolor

We’re not all perfect artists at every medium. For some, digital art is the way to go. Holding a pencil and paper is great, but with water color and paint, it does get a lot trickier.

Now not everyone has to be an amazing artist to be able to do their own watercoloring. There’s a real life bot that can do it for you.

A bot called WaterColorBot 2.0 (not from Reddit, or anything of the like), was a real life bot created to be able to convert any digital art piece into a water color painting. And not the digital kind. It is fully pre-assembled and you can use it right out of the box. It uses watercolor paints, pens and papers that you can buy at any art store.

To use it, you just have to plug it into a computer and let is sketch. It is computer generated, so it can created pieces of artwork that are fully identical.

What does this mean for the future of art? Do we no longer have to learn every medium to be a good artist? Does it make computers and technology that much easier to replicate art?

Well, no one  can say for sure right now, but we do think it’s a pretty nifty tool to try. You can get it for $295 US with free shipping to US addresses.
